Introduction: Alice Amazed puts you in the shoes of Alice in Wonderland in this fantastic one-switch game for PCs. You can choose to play against the computer or a friend. The main game pits Alice against the Rabbit in a race to get home through a maze of mini-games. The mini-games (which can all be separately selected) are the really fun bit. They are:
Pelican Hoops (a sea themed basketball game); Shooting Stars (a bow and arrows battle); Ace Invaders (a medieval Space Invaders game); Snail Pace Race (racing snails); and my favourite, Climbing the Wells (a race to climb out of a well before your opponent and rising water).
The game features a wide range of difficulty levels, although the timing element of the mini-games may make the game a little hard for some. The game can be slowed down even further using CPU Killer.
Controls:The game uses the SPACE BAR for player one, and the RETURN key for a second player. To select two player games, you must use the RETURN key to start. ESCAPE can be used to step back and to quit the game.
Because this is a keyboard based one-switch game, a huge range of controllers can be used to play it with providing you get them to act as the SPACE and RETURN keys.
