Warcraft 3 - Reign of Chaos

The war over Azeroth rages on, and players must adapt to the surprises that lie in store for them and devise strategies to defeat their opponents. The four playable races that populate Warcraft III are Orcs, Humans, Night Elves, and Undead. Each race is armed with unique units, magical abilities and weapons of war to take into battle as they renew their struggle for dominance. The game includes an editor for creating custom 3-D maps and missions, with scripts, spells and event triggers. Expanded multiplayer options allow for multiple game types, including cooperative play.

The game is controlled by the mouse/pointer, including left and right clicks and click-and-drag control. To move around the map, the mouse/pointer is moved to the edge of the map/screen, whereupon the screen will move in that direction. The arrow keys can also perform this function. There are non-configurable keyboard shortcuts available for regular actions and the keyboard is needed to enter a player's name and to save games. Subtitles are available and it is possible to alter how quickly the screen pans when the mouse/pointer is moved to the edge of the screen.
