GameOn wins national eWell-Being Award
The National eWell-Being Awards are the only UK-based awards that recognise uses of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that deliver social and/or environmental benefits. Since its inception in 2002 the Awards programme has attracted over 400 high quality entries across a range of categories, highlighting the importance and potential of ICT to benefit oranisations, the environment, and people's lives (www.sustainit.org).
Hundreds of applications were initially considered for shortlisting across the five catogories, with GameOn competing alongside diverse projects such as an audio captioning system for films, an electronic monitoring system for elderly care, and a community-driven internet TV channel.
We are proud to announce that GameOn won the award in the Age and Disability category!

Roadshows
We have held several Roadshows, which involve the team heading out with a variety of games and some special access equipment. The Roadshows have provided invaluable information for our young gamers - as well as being great fun! The events have been held at The ACE Centre's Saturday Group, and also at the annual Myotonic Dystrophy Conference in Milton Keynes.
